  A random happening in a giant, cold, and purposeless universe? The Bible warns and prepares us for the end of all things. Those last days will be dark, dire, and hopeless for many. We can expect wars and uprisings where selfishness, materialism, pridefulness, and brutality abound. But the Spirit-led and hope-filled people of God are called to love each other deeply, offer hospitality, use our God-given gifts to serve others with the strength that God provides, to speak as those who speak the very words of God, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ ( 1 Peter 4:7-11 , Luke 21:9 , 2 Timothy 3:1-5 ). How can anyone be hope-filled in the midst of such intense darkness? The people of God understand that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it for HE founded it on the seas and established it on the waters; this is not randomness, but purposeful creation ( Psalm 24:1-2 ). Praise the Lord, Eagles!  At the close of the "LOVE MEI" portion of the 777 Campaign, we have raised $1,010,821.00 from 845 gifts given. This brings our total to: $21, 010,821.00  >  Love MEI Marathon Video here Thank you to our students, staff, families, and the many friends of MEI!  To God be the glory!!! The 777 Campaign target is $7M, ending on April 18, 2026 at the Fundraising Gala. People of God, let's pray with great faith, trusting the Lord to provide! Special thanks to our teachers who adjusted throughout the day… it was truly a marathon! Note : Student gift card and classroom winners to be announced on October 15th, 2025.  Hawaii trip winner will be announced at the Gala on April 18, 2026.
