I am pleased to announce the hiring of ANDREA PENNER as the MEI Elementary School Vice Principal effective immediately. Andrea was the unanimous recommendation of the search committee and affirmed, also unanimously, by the MEI Board of Directors.
About Andrea
Andrea Penner has been a primary teacher at MEI Elementary School since 1995. She has served as the Learning Support Teacher for the past two years and is currently the school’s Acting Vice Principal. Andrea has also served as the Primary Team Leader where the school’s focus has been on literacy. Andrea was selected to participate in the MEI Leadership Series which she successfully completed in spring of 2019.
Andrea is a respected educator for her strengths in classroom pedagogy, relationship and team building, and her administrative and organizational abilities.
Interview Process
Andrea was interviewed by the search committee on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was found to be a highly knowledgeable and competent educator with a heart to serve the children in her care to the glory of God.
In Conclusion
I’m excited to add Andrea to the MEI Lead Team in this role and look forward to serving with her at MEI Schools!
