MEI is preparing for a full Stage 1 opening in September (Info on stages here)
Stage 1 is a regular school opening with a 100% density target for students and 5 days per week of K - 12 in-class instruction. The Ministry of Education (MOE) will make a decision on the September school restart stage after extensive consultation with the Provincial Health Officer (PHO). The MOE and MEI share a desire to return to Stage 1 student engagement but will be guided by provincial health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff. Furthermore, we will need to be prepared to pivot if needed during the school year based on the directives of the PHO, and MEI will be ready. We anticipate a formal announcement from the Ministry of Education sometime in mid-August.
Thank you
Many thanks to our Staff, Students, & Parents for all you have done and the adjustments that you have made to help us move through the many changes in this school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I’d like to once again acknowledge the Grads of 2020: You are truly a class act and a group that we are all so very proud of!!
May God bless you all this summer break with rest and peace.

So many are already affected financially from Covid so it was quite a shock that the rates still had a big increase. What happens IF in fall school is online like it was this spring - will there be a break in tuition?
