Dear MEI Families,
The MEI Board of Directors has formally approved an amendment to the school calendar for the current year (2021/2022). Click here for the amended calendar.
As a result of this change, the January 21st Professional Development Day has been moved to January 7th during the government-mandated closure. This will allow for one more instructional day in January for MEI students K - 12 as Friday, January 21st will now be a regular school day. Additionally, the secondary administration have reworked their exam schedule to allow for another added day of instruction on Monday, January 24th. Secondary families will hear more about this from their principal tomorrow. If your family has already made plans to be away on the 21st, our staff will work with you to support your child’s learning.
We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on Monday! You will hear from your principal tomorrow regarding covid-related safety reminders and adjustments.
