When the kings saw the anomaly in the sky, they were overjoyed and followed the star to Jesus, the Messiah, our Saviour and our Lord. When they actually saw Jesus, they humbled themselves and bowed down to worship him. Next, they brought out gifts from their treasures and presented them to Jesus (Matthew 2:1-12)
Let us follow the example of the kings from the east!
1. Let us put aside everything else and follow the star to Jesus.
2. Let us humble our hearts and calm our spirits to bow down and worship Jesus.
3. Let us provide a gift to Jesus. How? In Matthew 25, Jesus taught us that when we do something for those in need around us, we are actually doing that kind deed for Him. Let’s find a way to help someone in need this Christmas season.
