I’ve learned an important lesson from my dad who often says: “I’m humbly proud of [someone or something].” :) It can be a challenge to find the balance between being proud of something good that has happened and being humble at the same time. Of course when we work hard, we are proud of the result, but at the same time, if we started by asking God to help us and committed our way into His hands, then we must humbly give Him the glory afterwards. To God be the glory for ______!
Friends, let’s choose a humble attitude and posture this week and praise God for the good in our lives.
“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” (James 4:10)
