Dear MEI Community,
In response to the horrific discovery of 215 Indigenous children’s bodies near a residential school in B.C., MEI will be pausing on Monday, May 31st at 9:15am for a moment of quiet prayer. I invite you to join us.
MEI’s flags will be lowered to half-mast until Friday, June 4th.
Principals will provide age-appropriate resources for teachers to share with students.
I encourage you to wear orange this week or to find other ways of showing your support for the Indigenous Community in Canada during this difficult time.
